Customer safety and trust: credit card information is provided directly onto a safe server of the Inter-banking Services and encrypted in SSL, not memorised onto Foxwel & Davies.
It is the same as if the customer provided payment instructions directly to a bank.
Extreme ease of payment modality: the Foxwel & Davies customer can simply utilise a standard browser.
This user-friendly payment method affords a noteworthy advantage for all those internet-shy (or residing in a foreign country) customers allowing them to make purchases without problems.
Tested payment system: the Payment Gateway, in the section concerning verification of credit card data and response from the international circuits, utilises the same system thus amply tested and approved as a guarantee of continuity of service according to the market standards..

How the process works

Processing provides the involvement of four entities:

• Customer
• Foxwell & Davies
• Inter-banking services
• International authorisation circuits by Visa/Mastercard.

The system works in the following manner:

1) The customer visits Foxwell & Davies ItaliaÕs web pages and decides to purchase one or more products, adds them to the shopping cart and decides to pay by credit card.
The customer fills out a form requesting all information required by the supplier to fill the order (name, address, etc.).
When the customer reaches the summary order page (provided by Foxwell & Davies) and clicks on the ÒbuyÓ button he/she is redirected to the payment page located on a safe server of the Inter-banking Services.
The customer is shown a Shopping Cart containing the name of Foxwell & Davies and the amount of the transaction whereby the customer will insert the credit card number, expiration date, the name of the credit cart holder and an email address.
Insertion of sensitive data (holderÕs name and credit card number) will occur safely (the Inter-banking server is safe and encrypted at 128 bit) as a total safety measure for the customer.

2) The Inter-banking Services gather the data relative to the transaction (credit card data and amount) and insert them into the international authorisation circuits, in the same modality as transactions.
