Registration is the first step required to effect an on-line purchase in the Foxwell & Davies' virtual bookshop. An e-mail will advise you of successful registration. At this point you will have access to a wide selection of books and products in constant upgrade. A powerful search engine will help you find your book of your choice. After you have found the item you wish to purchase, forwarding the order is an extremely easy and safe operation: all you need to do is click on the shopping cart or download the order form, complete it, and submit it as follows:
1) fax to +44 (0)1865 576 034 (please fax also a copy of the receipt of payment made via bank draft or through checking account).
2) by mail, via sending the completely filled out order form to: Foxwell & Davies, Customer Service, 20-22 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4JS - United Kingdom, including copy of the bank draft or checking account payment receipt.
General terms
1) withdrawal of the order by the customer is accepted only by written communication and before shipment is made.
2) once orders are filled, no responsibility can be attributed to Foxwell & Davies if received late, not at all or partially.
3) the merchandise remains property of Foxwell & Davies until full payment for the purchase is made by the customer.
Select products, read the technical sheets and go to the cash register by clicking on the shopping cart to effect payment by credit card. All transactions are secure thanks to the use of the most advanced protection technologies whereby your personal information is encrypted during the payment process phases. In the instance where you made an involuntary mistake inputting your data, the credit card provider will advise us that process cannot be completed and, in this case, we shall email you and bring the issue to your attention so that it may be corrected.
Credit Card payment is an option. Payment can also be made via bank draft. After the purchase order is completed, payment can be made in the following methods: via bank draft, to the order of Foxwell & Davies (UK) Ltd, National Westminster Bank, account number 18660878, sorting code 60 05 16 (IBAN: GB20 NWBK 600516 18660878); please indicate the item number of the product(s) ordered.
The order will be filled only after payment has been effected. For mail orders ensure that the bank draft or check, made out to the order of Foxwell & Davies (UK) Ltd.
Shipment is free of charge for orders above the sum of € 70.00. Orders amounting to less than € 70.00, require a shipping surcharge of € 2.38 via regular mail, a surcharge of € 5.09 via courier or express mail. The merchandise is ensured (with an additional surcharge of € 1.80, up to a max of € 5.16; if above this surcharge there will be an extra 0.3%charge).
All orders above this sum will have an extra 2% surcharge in addition to shipping charges. Delivery will be made within 2-4 workdays.
The right to withdraw an order may be exercised only if written communication, in the form of a registered letter with return receipt, is made within 10 workdays from receipt of merchandise. The letter must be sent to: Foxwell & Davies Italia &, 20-22 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4JS, United Kingdom. You may also send a fax or telegram, within the 10 workdays timeframe, to cancel the order; however, this must be followed by confirmation registered letter with return receipt, within the following 48 hours. Please ensure that the letter cites the code numbers of the items that you wish to return, as well as indication as to the mode of reimbursement (check, bank draft, etc.) for the charges incurred citing eventual banker's sorting code. Charges for the return of the items are at the customerÕs expense, must be returned undamaged without evidence of use, to the same address as for the registered letter. As soon as the merchandise is received, we shall credit the customer withholding, however, the shipping charges as necessary.
